A Mysterious and Private Tequila
Código 1530 has long been called El Tequila Privado. This is due to generations of secrecy between respected Mexican families in and outside of Los Bajos. The original recipe came from a small Amatitán distillery that produced the spirit under the name of “Los Códigos”.

The regional secrecy has made the mysterious tequila one of the most sought-after tequilas in the world. The Añejo, the Extra-Añejo (or “Origen”), and the Reposado are among their products you should look out for.
These bottles have been perfected for generations into what a true homemade recipe should be. Customs and traditions are crucial for Código 1530 — and that’s why they make sure that every bottle produced embodies those traditions.
Sharing Customs and Heritage
Time-honored customs and generations of knowledge are what make the Código 1530 processes special. If you haven’t tried their tequilas, this is the perfect time to indulge yourself.
Social Scene is happy to share Código 1530 and its many delicious tequilas with you. Through our events at TequilaTastingFestivals.com, we provide a glimpse of Código 1530’s bottles and much more! Join us and many others who share your love of authentic tequila.

Living With the Code
True to its name—”código” means “code” in Spanish—Código 1530 makes tequila according to how it’s supposed to taste. They are all about authenticity, and they want to share their vision with tequila lovers from all over the world. The 1530 on the label commemorates the year that Jalisco gained its independence from Spain. This is more than a brand—it’s an homage to the land where tequila originated.
